This review is from: Oster Equine Care Series Curry Comb, Fine, Blue (Misc.) This is a great brush that I eagerly ordered due to its unique, small curry teeth that I haven't found in any stores. I use this on my little dog who is a big shedder. I used to ride horses and I probably wouldn't use this brush for horses as well. The teeth are really, really small, so you'd have to use it for fine grooming on a horse, like after its been bathed. However, like I said this is great for dogs. I also like the easy to grip handle. I bought this brush because I have three little long haired dogs and I am always in keeping the shedding down. Love this brush and so do my dogs. I am ordering two more, and the reason is I found that it really cleans my couch and chair surfaces of hair I could not see. I can comb it over the fabric and am surprised at the result. I also just discovered that it can brush away pollen and dust from our lawn furniture cushions outside. Going to keep on our porch for quick cleanups when we want to step outside and relax. I purchased universal attachments prior to using the dedicated length blades. It is like night and day. The dedicated blade only requires a couple of runs to have a clean cut, but meanwhile the universal attachments need 4-5 runs to get a nice clean cut. I would definitely recommend these if you want to save some time grooming your dogs. She's a Shepard/Malamute cross that would be warm at the south pole if the amount of hair is any indication. The Yowza attachment not only keeps the hair out of our carpets and off the furniture, but the dog thinks the whole process is a game we play with her. About every other day we have a patient lineup of all the dogs, four of them waiting their turn - one a Sheltie who's afraid of his own shadow-a Fox hound cross whose hair is about 1/2" long, and an Old Lab/Newfoundland who just flips over on her back and signals "Do Me." My wife says the Yowza is the best investment we've ever made for a house full of dogs. PS We're still hoping to catch our reluctant cat.
