How to use Pet Razor Grooming Trimmer:
Start with the razor grooming trimmer placed right above the place you want to be shortened. Comb in the direction of hair growth, meaning comb down. The blade on the trimmer will cut as it comes in contact with the hair. Do not force the trimmer. Lightly comb down the hairline. Comb the hair several times so that all of the hairs get cut. Cut your hair until you are satisfied with the length, then clean your trimmer.
Be sure to know what type of style you want on your pet so that you know which motion you should use with the razor trimmer. It will not make buzzing noise and it will not scare your pets. Please note that this razor trimmer is not intended to de-tangle curly or long hair. For best result, the hair should be already de-tangled to prevent pulling your pets hair.

Although I already have some of the pieces in this set (which I will use for back-up)I really like the curved scissors and round-tip trimming scissors but have not used the razor comb trimmer yet. I did print out the instructions located in the description of the product by the manufacturer for the razor comb trimmer as I have never used that grooming tool on either a human or pet. All in all, I think the quality of this 10-piece grooming kit is good with all types of scissors sharp and comfortable to use. I am glad I ordered this set to round out my collection of pet grooming tools as it will benefit our grooming sessions by having the right grooming tools to work with and make our grooming sessions more enjoyable. That's what it is all about-keeping the pet and the groomer in a positive mode during grooming and happy with the end results.
