Bought this item. Very cheap made in China junk. Did not remove any fur from my Shepard. Door to empty unit broke off first time i treied to open it. JUNK JUNK JUNK !!!!! Don't waste your hard earned 20 bucks on this item.

I have an Aussie Sheppard. I keep his hair about 3-4" all around. I have a short haired cat as well. It was loud so my dog and cat did not like the noise. It also didn't seem to grab the hair as advertised. I did one sweep and got a few hairs. This product was a Failure for me.

I bought this product for my hair use. I do not have bald spots or thinning areas.I bought the product to see if it actually does grow the hair. I received the product on Jan 15th and I used the product the same day. I wanted to wait until I used the product for at least a month before reviewing it. Well here it is April 16th and I am finally reviewing it. To track growth I also took pictures of my hair before using the product and after. I have tried everything under the sun and can pretty much tell you about any product whether it works or not and how to stop some of the side effects you may experience. Megatek does work!!!! I have read all of the reviews good and bad and have seen where some people went wrong using the product. I am going to tell you how I used it and I am also going to tell you some of the things you can do to prevent or stop problems from using this product.

i've had trouble with my temple area since I went on antibiotics 3-4 years ago. I've tried several different products (internal and external) and Mega Tek is the only product that has given me results. I've only been using it for 2 weeks and I'm already seeing new growth (seriously, 2 weeks). I never write reviews for products but I really believe that Mega Tek is worth it. I don't wash with it, I massage the product directly to my temples, once in the morning and once at night, I don't wash it out. Whenever I put it in my husband always compliments me on how nice my hair smells :)

I noticed increased thickness in my hair within 2 weeks of useage. It does cause a small amount of shedding the 1st few times I used it. Just make sure to condition and moisterize your hair daily. I'm african american, and I had great results.

This brush is amazing!! I have a Havana rabbit and a Dutch rabbit that shed A LOT. I uesd to use a regular rabbit brush until i heard about the Furminator. I would get a fair amount of hair with the regular brush but it's NOTHING like the Furminator! The first time i brushed with the it i could not beleive how much fur was coming off my rabbit. It took a little time for my rabbits to get comfortable with the brush. It has a really fine toothed comb that brushes deep in their coat. But now my rabbits love to be brushed and they feel sooo soft and their coat looks soooo shiny and nice! The Furminator is definatly worth the money. I will never go back to a regular brush again. Thank you Furminator! :)

Its important to know that you can't really press hard while using this product. If you use it on yourself you will notice it is rather harsh with force. If you use it on your animal make sure to watch for signs that they are not enjoying it as it most likely means you are pressing to hard with it. Even lightly pulled across my rabbits coat it is effective at catching and removing the loose fur and leaves him with a feel. The piece designed to push fur off of the edge is not really effective so expect to hand pull the fur off, not a big deal. The other aspect is that my rabbit seems to want to chew on the rubber handle, which is no fault of the product but something to be mindful of if you are a rabbit owner.
