They fit right on the Oster A5 golden clipper I bought (securely). The one that came with it, I think it's a 10 shaves the dog down to the skin. This one leaves about a 1/2 inch coat. I use the 3F to cut him all over than I use the 10 on his belly and anywhere else I want him cut close.......his feet, snout, ears, etc. These blades stay cool to the touch. The clippers have to get very hot for these to even start getting warm. The blade is available from other vendors with the AgION coating and the blade Amazon ships is available from other retailers at a lower price.The product description for this blade states that it is an Agion coated blade but the picture is of a cheaper blade without the coating. The blade that is shipped is the one pictured but does not have the Agion coating as described in the product description. I notified Amazon that the picture is not the blade described in the product description but they replied that the photo is correct so they knowingly will continue to supply the cheaper blade at the price of the Agion coated blade described. I bought this to use with a recently purchased set of Oster pet clippers. The blade works perfectly for my fleece-coat labradoodle! It trims him down to slightly longer than labrador-length hair, which is great for the summer. I've found that using a blade only is MUCH easier than a blade/comb combo. |
